Our Mission

Picks With Purpose exists to empower artists and festivals by turning the impact of live music into opportunities that last far beyond the stage.

Our mission is to build meaningful, long-term partnerships with artists, festivals, venues, fans, and the music community while creating sustainable ways to support their growth, vision, and future.

Through the recovery and repurposing of concert materials and memorabilia—including guitar picks, used strings, drumsticks, and other items—we create new value from pieces of the live-music experience that might otherwise be discarded. Through fundraising, partnerships, merchandise, and community support, that value can then be redirected into resources that strengthen the artists and festivals that make these experiences possible.

Empowering Our Artists

At Picks With Purpose, we don’t want to simply promote artists—we want to become part of their support system.

From the moment an artist officially joins the Picks With Purpose team, they will have access to apply for assistance through our Artist Emergency Fund. This fund is designed to help when unexpected circumstances threaten an artist’s ability to continue touring, performing, creating, or pursuing their ministry and music.

Through fundraising opportunities at participating shows, donated memorabilia, merchandise initiatives, partnerships, and the generosity of fans and supporters, we will also work to provide our artists with practical resources for life on the road.

Depending on available funds and resources, this support may include free merchandise production, road supplies, fuel assistance, emergency travel expenses, lodging, meals, vehicle or trailer needs, replacement equipment, and other essential touring expenses.

Our goal is to create a system where every show has the potential to help prepare an artist for the next one.

Empowering Festivals

Our long-term vision extends beyond individual artists. Picks With Purpose exists to help festivals grow, become sustainable, and continue creating opportunities for artists and communities.

We want to partner with festivals to develop fundraising opportunities, reduce waste, recover valuable memorabilia and materials, connect them with resources, and eventually provide financial and practical assistance that helps festivals overcome challenges and pursue long-term goals.

When festivals succeed, they create stages. When stages exist, artists have opportunities. When artists and festivals work together, communities experience something bigger than a concert.
